Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Study
Purpose:
This test allows doctors to measure the size of your abdominal aorta and evaluate for an abdominal aortic aneurysm.
Preparation:
Take 30 mL of Milk of Magnesium or Mylanta the night before the procedure. Do not eat or drink anything after midnight. If you are a smoker, do not smoke for at least six (6) hours prior to your test. Wear a comfortable 2-piece outfit (loose clothing). Please take all medication as prescribed. The test should take approximately thirty (30) minutes.
